Volunteer Price Guide

I'm getting excited...are you??!! Below you will find pricing based on our most common volunteering requests. All prices are quoted in American dollars. Prices do not include airfare, airport taxes, travel health insurance, Passport or visa needs.

* The Dominican Republic requires a Passport only.

One or Two Day Program

You are coming to Puerto Plata for a vacation and you thought you might also like to volunteer for a day or two during your stay!! Great idea!!

You can!

A typical day would include:

830am pick up at your hotel, highlight tour of Puero Plata City, walking tour into one of the impoverished neighbourhoods supported by OLA, break for lunch (included), transfer to program site of your choice, hands on volunteering within the program, wrap up of the day, transfer back to your hotel.
$ 75 USD/pp per day
$ 275 USD/family of 4 per day

One week Program

Looking for an experience that will be like no other while enriching the lives of children who are less fortunate? By submerging yourself into a weekly program, your contribution will be lasting!

A typical day can be designed around one particular project for the whole week or if you choose to experience all projects, we will design a week for you with each day being a little different.

$ 350 USD/pp for 5 days - no accomodation included *

* lunch included during volunteer day

Extended Stay

If you are thinking of staying and contributing to our programs for two or more weeks, we would be ecstatic!! Depending on your personal or professional strengths, we may be able to incorporate you into a helping capacity for our progam development outside of regular volunteering. You may have an idea that you have brought with you or you may have a particular skill that we have needed to launch us further toward our ever growing organization. Direct planning with our volunteer co-ordinator for your program will be organized.

Extended stay will be adjusted in relation to length of stay.
